Note: All filming/photography requests must be submitted at least 7-10 business days prior to the proposed date of activity. This includes drone use and requests for outside athletic venues. You must have all locations, dates, and times confirmed with your UA point of contact before submitting this form. Requests submitted without confirmed details will need to be restarted once information is finalized. All filming inside UA athletics venues must be coordinated with UA’s Athletics Communications Office by completing their venue use application. Athletics Communications will advise the producer on whether contact with Strategic Communications needs to be made.
The University of Alabama Unmanned Aircraft Systems request form must be completed. (required) Note that your drone use request must be approved in tandem with your request to film. Allow 7-10 business days prior to planned flight/filming to ensure adequate time for processing all requests. All drone requests are approved and maintained through Environmental Health and Safety.
