The social media team is responsible for the management of the University’s brand and reputation within the social media landscape. We keep a pulse on the campus community through live coverage of events, monitoring of platforms and hashtags, and collaboration with others in our Division and across campus. Working with the top-level social media channels of the University, the team strives to create content that tells our story and amplifies our brand.

To increase consistency in messaging and staying on brand across social media accounts that represent UA, the social media team of Strategic Communications created a Social Media Communicators Network – Trending Tide. This group provides an opportunity to work closely with social media communicators across campus to authentically share the story of our University. A collaborative and informational environment, we’re building a community among our social media communicators by sharing assets, pooling resources and providing guidance when needed. Not only does this group help ensure the most timely and up-to-date information is being shared across UA-driven social platforms, but it also provides an opportunity to align social strategies and messaging across University-related social media accounts.
